Rustic castle atmosphere, very good cuisine and moderate prices. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant with typical local inn cuisine, decent portions, great taste. We'd love to come back soon

After a week of vacation in Italy, my wife, our little daughter and I made our way home to Upper Austria. Feeling quite hungry, we looked for a good restaurant nearby and came across the Speckladle inn. It's just a few minutes from the expressway and very easy to find. There are some parking spaces right next to the restaurant, which is very convenient.The guest garden is large and beautiful, covered with tents to protect it from the wind. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They even brought the soup extra cooler for our little daughter. The food came very quickly, the portions were large and the prices were very fair.Despite the little mess our 11 month old daughter made, the waiters and (I assume) the boss remained extremely friendly and patient.We really loved it and will definitely come back!---A really recommended restaurant, especially for families with small children.

A “tavern” like you look for in Austria and apparently still find. Fast, friendly service. The food is excellent - typical, local fare prepared with great attention to detail. The guest garden right on the city moat is very cozy!! Price - performance top!Thank you very much for the delicious food!
